Meet the Staff
The Office of Learning Communities has 3 staff members who work to accomplish the office mission and manage the short-term and long-term development of the learning community program. These staff members are supported by many different offices and people across campus who make the development and implementation of learning communities possible.

Dan Cutler serves as the Director of Learning Communities for Student Affairs / Associate Director of Residence Life. In this role Dan provides leadership to the development and implementation of over thirty different residential learning communities, including partnerships with housing, residence life, registrar, faculty, academic representatives from each of SU’s nine undergraduate schools & colleges. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Clemson University, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Higher Education Administration at Syracuse University.

Ebonish Lamar serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Learning Communities. In this role Ebonish oversees the learning community peer mentoring program, coordinates LC RA selection and training, teaches seminar classes in the Whitman School of Management Learning Community and the Gen-One Scholars Learning Community, coordinates learning community assessment initiatives, and assists in the development and implementation of over thirty different residential learning communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Cal Poly Pomona University and a Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Southern California.
